CGU Nominated Driver Car Insurance

This innovative policy option, particularly suited to young families, provides a discounted premium if your car is normally driven by only one or two people (and not by anyone under 25). To be entitled to this discount, you need to nominate these drivers, one of whom must be an owner of the vehicle.

If a driver, other than the nominated drivers, has an accident, the total excess otherwise payable would be doubled, unless the driver is under 25. Please note that no cover is provided for drivers under 25 years of age. Unless of course, it is a medical emergency, where an injury or illness places a person's life at risk - we would cover a driver under 25.

CGU also provides cover while your car is being repaired, serviced, tested or being parked by an attendant. This benefit also applies to drivers under 25 years of age.
