Community Involvement

At B&E we have a strong belief in the importance of our role in Corporate Responsibility.  Our sponsorship, support and involvement with events and organisations that deliver a community benefit reflects our commitment in this area.

Below is one example of the many community events in which B&E has been involved.

B&E Ducks Dive Deep to Help Out......

B&E is once again delighted to be part of the B&E Rotary Duck Race which is an annual event organised by the Rotary Club of Central Launceston. This year’s event was a huge success and B&E extends its congratulations to the Rotary Club of Central Launceston and it hardworking members and committee.

Funds raised from the event are donated to local charities and a major recipient from the 2006 duck race was residential services for the intellectually disabled, a local organisation that provides assistance that allows people with disabilities to live independent and fulfilling lives in the community. The Examiner’s annual Winter Relief Appeal was another cause that B&E together with the Rotary Club of Central Launceston had the pleasure in supporting.
