Applying for B&E Telephone banking is quick and easy, simply head in to your local B&E Branch, or contact us by phone, and ask how you can register.
It's secure and it's confidential
After registering you will be advised by one of our staff what your temporary access code is, the first time you dial B&E Telephone Banking you will be asked to select a telephone access code of your own.
Do not divulge it to others as it is your personal key to B&E Telephone Banking. As a matter of security you should also regularly change your telephone access code. This is an easy option with B&E Telephone Banking.
What you Need
Once you are registered for B&E Telephone Banking, all you need to get up and running is:
1 - Your Telephone User Number and Access Code
This number was provided to you when you registered for B&E Telephone Banking, clients who have not yet registered for Telephone Banking should contact their local B&E Branch to register.
2 - A Touch Tone Telephone
To test that you have a touch tone telephone, lift the handset and press the hash (#) button.
If you hear a beep you will be able to access B&E Telephone Banking. If not, check whether the phone has a button or switch labelled "pulse" or "tone". Try pressing or switching this, then press the hash (#) button for a beep.
